About Dor-Mar Heating & Air Conditioning

Dor-Mar Heating and Air Conditioning has been serving Newark, Columbus, Zanesville, and Lancaster, Ohio and the surrounding areas since 1962. Starting out as a small door-to-door company, Dor-Mar has grown to be one of the largest heating and cooling service companies in Ohio.

Dor-Mar is family owned and operated;  we hold our employees to the highest standards to ensure we provide our customers with the best HVAC service possible. We currently have more than 40 employees, all who are passionate about taking care of our customers’ needs. Our employees attend regular training, ensuring we keep up with the ever-changing HVAC field. As a result of our hard work and honesty, Rheem & Coleman has recently recognized us as a “ Top Team Contractor.” We offer free estimates on new equipment, and provide customers with 24-hour service.

Our ‘Humble’ Beginnings

My grandfather started our company in 1962, and my father ran it before me. We are a customer service-oriented company that focuses on reliable, friendly, lightning-fast service.

My grandfather, Frank A. Brewer, was a U.S. Navy gunner and served in WWII. He worked for Holland Furnace for 20 years before leaving to start this business in 1962.

Greg S. Brewer, my father, was second owner; he started the philosophy of helping youth athletics in our community. This year, we sponsored over 25 Little League baseball teams with donations and other support.

I started in this business as a young man, with my father putting me in crawl spaces to run ductwork while on summer vacation from school. I started working full time at the age of 19. I obtained my state commercial license at 25. I have three kids and a wife, and I love boating, fishing and hunting.
