Did you know that most consumers view online reviews as reliable as a personal recommendation? There are a number of review websites where you can read detailed descriptions of a particular homeowner’s experience. Often these sites also have a 1-to-5 star rating system. Look for a high review count (meaning the company has been around for a while or service a large number of customers) and a high average rating, no less than 4.5 stars. You can also see if the company is actively paying attention to, and responding to, consumer reviews.
Dor-Mar Heating and Air Conditioning has accumulated more than 1,000 reviews and has an average rating of 4.83 stars on Google. We make it a point to respond to every review, positive or (the rare) negative review. If something went wrong, we work to make it right.

Air Conditioner Installation and Replacement
As your old A/C system deteriorates with age, it must work much harder to cool the air inside your home. This means it’s necessary for it to consume more energy to deliver the desired temperature. When you consider this and the significant difference in the energy efficiency of current air conditioning systems versus those manufactured only 15 or 20 years ago, it’s easy to see how switching to a new, state-of-the-art system will represent substantial savings on your energy bills.
Installing a new air conditioning system is not a job for a weekend warrior. The installation must be completed in accordance with local and state building codes and following the manufacturer’s specifications in order to protect your warranty. The job demands a licensed and trained professional like the ones at Dor-Mar Heating & Air Conditioning.

Hooking up the Tstat to wifi

Performed AC maintenance and checkout on both systems. Return air filters were both clean. Evaporator coil on order system had lots of rust and corrosion potentially leaking. Check the outside condensers found order ream. To have quite a bit of build up on the coils. Clean coils off checked pressures. Found system to be low on refrigerant. Went over options with the customer on repair and replacement, given the age condition. And cost to repair, i would strongly recommend replacing rather than repairing. Newer AC system condenser was off. Balance would recommend having a pad. Put under the condenser to keep it level and to be able to drain properly other than that, running and operating normal.

Arrived for a/c tune-up and check out: Created a call for cooling at the thermostat. Inspected furnace condition and operation. Furnace and blower motor were clean and operating normal. Checked return air filter, return air filter was clean. Checked condensate drain line and cleared drain line out. Checked temp drop across . Had a 19° temp drop across evaporator coil. Checked outside condenser and cleaned coils. Checked amp draw for fan motor and compressor. Both were running and operating normal within manufacturer specifications. Checked capacitor, capacitor tested good. Checked contactor condition, had no pitting or rust. Checked wiring, wiring was in good condition. Checked refrigerant charge, manufacturer recommends a 10° subcool plus or minus 3°. System had a 10.8° subcool. System is running and operating normal upon departure.

Went through system. System is working as it should with zero trouble codes. This location has a Silco fire panel that is throwing a common trouble code. Going to do some research with silco and if it’s something we can do we can fix it. If I can’t figure it out they will have to call silco and have them diagnose the system

Customer stated of a squealing noise coming from the furnace. Found blower motor bad and out of balance also observed flame rollout, and discoloration with blower motor on. Recommended keeping heat of and replacing the furnace.

When I arrived customer stated his AC unit was not cooling. His home found thermostat did not know there was an outside ac to send a call to. Change settings in thermostat for a 5 ton air conditioner with a 10% cool air adjustment.
