DorMar Heating & Air Conditioning is a leading provider of HVAC and refrigeration services in Central Ohio. We are seeking a Commercial HVAC/Refrigeration Technician to join our team and provide expert repair and maintenance services to our commercial clients.
Responsibilities:
- Diagnose and repair commercial HVAC and refrigeration systems, including rooftop units, chillers, and walk-in coolers
- Perform preventive maintenance to ensure optimal system performance and efficiency
- Communicate with customers to explain the nature of the problem and provide recommendations for repair or replacement
- Document all work performed and maintain accurate records of customer interactions and service history
- Participate in training sessions and ongoing education to stay current with best practices in commercial HVAC and refrigeration repair

Requirements:
- High school diploma or equivalent required; technical or trade school degree preferred
- 5+ years of experience in commercial HVAC and refrigeration repair
- Knowledge of commercial HVAC and refrigeration systems, including both diagnostics and repairs
- Strong communication skills, both verbal and written
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment
- Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation
- Willingness to work occasional evenings and weekends as needed
- Ability to lift heavy equipment and work in confined spaces as needed
- EPA certification preferred
SALARY
Competitive, based on experience
