iWave-C Air Purifiers
The iWave-C Air Purifier is a self-cleaning, bi-polar ionization generator
for actively treating the air quality in your home or office’s HVAC system.
The iWave-C produces and maintains ionization output and capabilities without requiring replacement parts in a year or two (like Ultraviolet-C lighting for heating and cooling systems). The device can last up to ten years with a minimum of maintenance.
How It Works
We install the iWave-C into your home’s heating and cooling system. As the air flows past the purifier unit, the device emits positive and negative ions, creating a plasma region that actively purifies the supply air. This effectively kills mold, bacteria and viruses in the coil, the ductwork, and the home’s living space.
The ionization process reduces allergens, smoke and static electricity as well. It eliminates cooking and pet odors in the air without creating ozone or any harmful byproducts. Installed in more than 100,000 applications worldwide, iWave-C is a very safe, low-maintenance method to purify your home’s air
Designed for Light Commercial, Residential Applications
Specially designed for light-commercial systems up to 12 tons (4800 CFM) with now maintenance or replacement parts need, the iWave-C is suitable for residential applications as well.
Always working at peak performance, and drawing minimal power from your heating and cooling system, the device can be duct-mounted outdoors or indoors. The iWave-C is superior to other similar products by producing 200 million ions/cc.
Important features of the iWave-C unit include a programmable self-cleaning cycle, waterproof housing, on-site visual monitoring with a digital display, and remote monitoring via the integrated alarm contact.
Should the ion emitters become damaged or wear out after years of service, they are replaceable by an HVAC service technician on the iWave-C.
Preset Cleaning Cycle
The iWave-C includes a preset cleaning cycle that runs every five days. A manual cleaning cycle can be initiated by pressing the cleaning cycle test button on the unit’s front panel. During the cleaning cycle, the display indicates “CLEA”.The cleaning cycle may be reprogrammed to 1, 5, 10 or 20 days. Most installations will not need to deviate from the default five day cleaning cycle.
Three Year Limited Warranty
The iWave-C includes a limited warranty for three years that covers defects in material or workmanship under normal use. It’s rare, but to make a warranty claim you’ll need to provide proof of purchase and proof of proper installation by a licensed contractor. The iWave warranty doesn’t cover labor, return shipping charges, damage from improper installation or improper wiring/voltage usage. The warranty starts the date the unit was purchased. The warranty is voided if the unit is installed by anyone other than a licensed contractor.
